West Desert Ride Was Great!
It was reported that the West Desert Ride was
enjoyable for all that participated. The State
Parks and Bureau of Land Management led 3
different day rides out of Delta. Maps of these
rides are available through State Parks.
Emery County Alert
Emery County is in the process of opening (or
closing) county roads to OHV travel. All local
club members need to be involved in the roads
surrounding your communities. You are welcome
to contact Ray Peterson with Emery County
Public Lands at 381-5552 with your concerns or
Mark H Williams 381-2493 so that he can pass
along your ideas and comments. There will also
be regular meetings held that you can attend.
Your input is important to keep our roads legal to
ride on.
Annual Christmas Ride & Dinner

It's that time of year again - Thanksgiving is
almost here and Christmas is just around the
corner. I'm sure it's been a busy year for
everyone so reward yourself! Take a break and
join in for the annual Christmas Ride and Dinner.
We're hoping for great weather on Saturday,

Ferron. Meet at Ferron Senior Citizen Center on
170 North 300 West and be ready to ride at
10:00 a.m. If you will not be able to join us for
the ride, please meet here at the Center for the
dinner at 4:00 p.m.
On the menu is Roast Turkey and Baked Ham
provided by the Club. They will also furnish the
drinks and utensils. The rest is up to all of you.
Please bring a pot luck dish (side dish, dessert,
salad, etc.) to go along with the meat. You will need to RSVP by December 1st so final plans
can be made. Call:

We wil be selling tickets for the after-dinner prize
drawing. We will have some great items. There
will also be SEUOHV Club merchandise for sale
such as T-shirts, flags and caps and some
Arapeen ATV Jamboree T-shirts.
Looking Ahead to 2004
"Swell Cure for Cabin Fever" Poker Ride will
be held on March 27th, 2004. Pete Jones will be
in charge so please lend him a hand by calling
and volunteering to help with this very successful
annual event. His number is 435-381-2449.
"Arapeen ATV Jamboree" is also in the planning
stages. It will be September 6th - 10th , 2004. The
brochures have already been printed and will be
distributed throughout the region very soon. As
part of the event for this second year, there will
be a "Ladies' Ride" included in the fun.
More Club Rides are being considered for 2004.
Besides the organized events above, more of you
would like some monthly rides. This is a great
way to travel different trails and have a lot of
great recreational experiences. Call Mary Lue,
Mark H or Glennys and tell them where you
would like to ride. Also, if any of you know of
some great rides that you would be willing to
guide, please let them know.
Club Membership Dues for 2004 are going to
be due soon. They are 20 dollars per family. For your convenience, Mary Lue
will be collecting them at the Christmas Dinner.
Otherwise, just mail them in to her at:
